Duathlon 1 weather update

Having just returned from the Bowl we can confirm the race is going ahead at the moment, however, as a result of localised flooding we are going to have to slightly change the route of the cycle lap resulting in a shorter lap of 1.1km. For those of you familiar with the Bowl we will be using the internal loop running round behind the stage without going out into the Coach Park.
 

We will still be cycling 12 laps, resulting in a 13.2km bike leg rather than the planned 16km. For those working in old money 8.25 miles instead of 10.
 

The weather forecast for Milton Keynes is for pretty much the same as today.

Date change for National Team Championships

Due to a clash with the Bedford Classic we have moved the date of the National Team Champs to 19/09/2010 coinciding with Sprint 3

Big Cow are pleased to announce their calendar for 2010. The early Sprint has been replaced with a late Sprint and 2010 will see the introduction of a brand new Club event with a previously unseen format ... details to follow.

Details of the Big Cow Training Camp

 
All single rooms now taken!

The 2010 camp will,as usual, be held in Riccione, just down the road from Rimini.

Starting on 24th April 2010 for either 7 or 10 days the camp will follow the usual format of morning swim sessions, multi group cycles through and up the amazing Italian countryside and organised run sessions.

Booking this year will only be accepted following receipt of your deposit and will be on a strictly first come first served basis.
