The lake will probably be cold and you will be treading water for the start of your wave. Wetsuits are compulsory. Not only will the wetsuit keep you warm it will also help to keep you buoyant. There will be between 10 and 12 canoes and a safety boat at all times for your assistance should you need it. If you do get into difficulty roll over onto your back and raise one arm. The course is a large M shape with 7 buoys to swim round. Please study the map carefully!
